Alison D Quammen, PA

I am a physician assistant and have been working as a PA in either family medicine or urgent care since graduation in 2010. I grew up in Montana and graduated from high school and college in Billings. I started working as a PA in the Lake Tahoe area in 2010 and returned to Montana in 2017. 

Working in an urgent care is challenging and variable. My day can involve taking care of all age groups with a variety of different concerns. This requires me to know a little bit about a lot of different conditions. I am a lifelong learner, and this job continues to push me to learn new skills and obtain ongoing knowledge. 

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors. I was a white-water rafting guide in my 20's and continue to love being on the river. I grew up skiing and try to get out as much as possible. I also love hiking, camping and spending time with my family. International travel is another passion of mine, but with a child in elementary school, I don't get as many trips as I used to.
