I was there for my annual Medicare wellness visit. I discussed a few minor problems in addition to that, and Dr. Smith listened very attentively and offered several approaches to dealing with my minor issues. Also told me to contact him if I wanted more information or if things got worse.

Dr. Smith is always down to earth & shows me that he genuinely cares.

Dr. Smith is fantastic. My former primary care doctor left BC after I last saw him in late-summer or fall of 2023 and I was worried I wouldn't find a new doctor that I felt listened to me and factored my concerns and experience in to whatever care was given. I have had doctors in the past where they discount things like "when I get a respiratory infection, it often doesn't resolve on its own and this is what has worked previously". Of course a doctor has much more experience so I don't expect them to do what I tell them but it's nice to feel like they factor that in to their decisions. Dr. Smith has been great about explaining why he thinks we should or shouldn't do certain types of screenings etc but has always said "if you feel strongly I can get it ordered" which makes me feel more confident in his judgement honestly. He reiterated this time that if I had something come up, I should call because he tries to keep time in the schedule to see patients for unexpected things so they don't have to go to same day care and see a different doctor. Which is great - having that relationship and trust is super helpful. Overall - very good experience. I have noticed some issues with care and personnel in the past at BC (post-covid) and it seems like things are improving which is good.
