About Dana Damron

Dana P. Damron graduated from Brigham Young University, then attended medical school at St. Louis University. This was followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dana then lived on the Blackfeet Reservation for several years, working for the Indian Health Service as an OBGYN physician. Then it was across the country to complete a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Because of his love for Montana, he returned to this beautiful state to work at Billings Clinic for the next dozen years. This was followed by a decade working in Anchorage, Alaska. Because of a desire to live closer to family, Dana and his wife LeAnn accepted an offer to return and work at Billings Clinic. Dana’s great passion is riding a good horse in the beautiful country. This led him to write a book about horseback riding in Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks.
