Dr. Jeremy Archer, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with special expertise in exercise testing, sports cardiology, fetal cardiology, pulmonary hypertension, dysautonomia and long Covid, and chest wall abnormalities. He studied biology and computer science at Princeton University, graduating summa cum laude, and attended medical school at the University of Florida, receiving multiple honors. He completed pediatric residency training at the University of Vermont, where he was chief resident, and cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida, where also he earned a Master’s degree in Health Outcomes and Policy.
Dr. Archer previously practiced at the Billings Clinic from 2013-2020, building a robust pediatric and fetal cardiology practice to serve the region, and serving as medical director of the pediatric specialty group, the director of pediatric echocardiography and the co-director of the Pediatric Chest Wall Clinic. He moved to the University of Florida in 2020, where he was the medical director of the Congenital Heart Center's outpatient clinics and played key roles in the pediatric exercise testing, the multidisciplinary pediatric pulmonary hypertension program, and medical student and fellow education. He is an experienced medical author and editor as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals and as the pediatric cardiology editor for Dynamed. His own research has focused on the diagnosis and impact of congenital heart disease in premature infants.
Dr. Archer was delighted to rejoin the Billings Clinic in 2023, to continue the tradition of caring for patients across this beautiful region. He enjoys fitness, meditation, playing guitar, and spending time in the outdoors. He is married with three teenage children.
