Karla A Mora Rodriguez, MD

Karla  A. Mora Rodriguez, MD, born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. She attended the University of Medical Sciences and University of Costa Rica for her medical training in Medicine and a specialty in Neurology respectively. She then completed an ABCN-certified research fellowship in Advanced Clinical Neurophysiology with added competency in Epilepsy Monitoring at Medical University of South Carolina in 2020. While living in SC she met her husband, Tyler, and the two were married in 2021. She went back to school to complete a second (ABPN-accredited) Neurology residence in 2025 at University of South Florida in Tampa. She and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors and love animals. They are frequent visitors and contributors of the local zoo, aquariums and other conservation parks wherever they live.
