Dr. Kulkarni was born in India and grew up in Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate studies in Anthropology at the University of Louisville, which laid a strong foundation for understanding human health from both cultural and holistic perspectives. Dr. Kulkarni pursued her medical degree at Touro University California, followed by a Family Medicine Residency at Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX with specialization in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).
In addition to her residency, Dr. Kulkarni completed training in Integrative Medicine and an International and Rural Medicine Fellowship at Via Christi in Wichita KS, with a focus on obstetrics, POCUS, and tropical medicine. She is passionate about creating sustainable healthcare models that prioritize preventive and community-based medicine. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kulkarni enjoys spending time with her spouse and dog, exploring the outdoors through hiking and scuba diving, and unwinding with TV, reading, and dancing.

Dr Kulkarni is very concerned and attentive. She spent extra time with me. I'm sure she was late because she probably spent extra time with the patient ahead of me. My appt was scheduled at 9:45 and she arrived about 10:30. I liked her very much so she was worth the wait.

This was my first visit with Dr. Kulkarni, my new Primary Care Doctor. She is exceptional! This was a get-to-know session, and she absorbed everything I said. I know because I reviewed her Clinic Notes, which were thorough, correct and well-written. I am happy to have her as my Primary Care, because she is a osteopathic doctor. She worked some on my left thumb and helped my pain a great deal.
