Melissa Rubie, APRN

Melissa is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned a Master of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University in May 2025. With a nursing career that began in 2010, Melissa brings over 15 years of clinical experience to her advanced practice role, grounded in a deep commitment to patient-centered and compassionate care.

Driven by a passion for mental health and holistic wellness, Melissa pursued advanced training as a PMHNP to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for individuals across the lifespan. She is excited to begin this next chapter at Billings Clinic Outpatient Behavioral Health, where she aims to support individuals and families in achieving mental wellness through collaborative and evidence-based care.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys running and hiking with her dog, spending time with friends and family, traveling, backpacking, skiing, and reading.
