Nathaniel J Spezia Lindner, MD

Dr. Nathan Spezia-Lindner is a gastroenterologist at Billings Clinic in Bozeman, MT. He completed his medical school, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his training, he was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies, and he completed his fellowship with a special distinction in medical education.

Dr. Spezia-Lindner cares for the full range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, with particular clinical interests in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and large polyp resection with colonoscopy. He is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care and values long-term relationships with his patients.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Spezia-Lindner developed a strong connection to Montana through years of hiking, camping, and skiing in the region. He earned his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont, where he studied molecular biology along with Spanish, Italian, and French. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, alpine skiing, cooking, homebrewing, and spending time with his wife and young son. He has also recently been dabbling (carefully) in foraging local edible plants and mushrooms."
