I feel my concerns were dismissed. The provider decided early on that my problem was simply not that bad.

The first thing Dr. Key said when he entered the exam room was how glad he was to see me again. Seeing as it was more than eight years since I'd been in his office I was amazed that he remembered me! He was just as kind and caring as always.

Dr. Key provided a treatment plan when others were only prescribing antibiotics and sending me home, only to have it reoccur.

I asked questions about things that were going on and Dr. Key commenced to try to answer my concerns.

I was VERY impressed! He not only listened to me explain my issues but asked follow up questions that made me feel like he cared about getting to the root cause. Most importantly, he was honest with me and said that he needed some time to review my case after speaking to me and that he would follow up in about a week. I left his office knowing that he was taking my issues seriously and didnt just "diagnois something" to move on (unfortunately, over the years I have been dismissed by many doctors in another state and and I have only recently learned that I have a chronic health issue and those issues were indeed very valid at the time). He called me at the end of the day and let me know what he believed the issue was and reccomended a trial of a medication. That trial medication has greatly improved my quality of life, and when the quality was so poor before...that statement is a profound one for me to be able to make. I'm greatful he was the doctor that walked in the room that day!
