Sofia Rohde, MD

Sofia Laura Rohde, MD grew up in Brazil and is now a proud American who serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve. She attended a medical school recognized as one of Brazil's leading institutions in community care, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for patients and families in rural settings.

After earning her medical degree in Brazil and working for several years as a Family Medicine physician there, Dr. Rohde moved to the United States and completed her Family Medicine residency at UCF/HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, Florida, in 2026. She provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. During residency, she received extensive training in the care of older adults and developed a special interest in supporting their health, independence, and quality of life. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and caring for multiple generations within the same family.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rohde enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She is passionate about horses, livestock, rural life, and the outdoors, and enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Wyoming with her family.
